Dr Parag Kulkarni has had an illustrious academic career. He completed his medical studies from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, securing distinction in the subject of Ophthalmology and ENT. He then went on to do his post-graduate studies in Ophthalmology at KEM hospital Parel and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College at Sion in Mumbai. He completed his postgraduate studies in 1999 with the degrees of MS (Ophthalmology), DOMS, FCPS and DNB. He secured a gold medal in the FCPS examination and a gold medal in the practical examination of DOMS. He later worked at various prestigious hospitals like R N Cooper Hospital, Hitvardhak Eye Hospital, Rotary Eye Hospital and Sanjivani Hospital at Virar. Over the past twenty two years, Dr Parag Kulkarni has successfully operated upon more than 15000 patients for cataract as well as treated lakhs of patients with various eye disorders.
In 2012, realizing the need for a facility for removal of spectacle number by laser, Dr Kulkarni along with a group of Doctors started Universal Lasik Center with the latest LASER MACHINE from Zeiss Germany. Since then a large number of patients have got rid of their glasses with laser treatment.
Completed her medical graduation from Nair Hospital (Mumbai) in 2005 and her Post Graduation in MS (Ophthalmology) from the prestigious KEM Hospital (Mumbai) in 2010. She has further done fellowship in Phacoemulsification and general ophthalmology from Bombay City Eye Institute & Reseach Center in 2012. She has received training in LASIK Surgeries from Center for Sight Institute .
She has been working at Sanjivani Hospital , Virar West as an eye specialist since 2013 & has done more than 5000 different eye surgeries till date.
After completing his post- graduation in Ophthalmology (Eye), Dr. Pritam pursued a two year fellowship in vitreoretina at internationally renowned Aravind Eye Hospital at Madhurai. He further worked as Senior Retinal surgeon at Sri Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot.
He is well experienced in managing all diseases of the retina of the eye.
